You can add slipperiness with any water-based lube you love, but please keep it away from silicone-based lubes and other silicone toys. This vibe is USB rechargeable, and the cord is included. The remote takes 2 AAA batteries (sold separately). The Mini is splash-proof but shouldn't be submerged.
